The two beasts started to howl as they stared each other down until they leaped at each other. Both creatures' teeth sunk into the other while their claws deeply cut into the other. Isolder's beastly mind had completely forgotten about the new town. Now, he was only thinking of taking the life of the other beast. His animal side was totally in control and he wanted blood.

He smelled other scents approaching, but he was focused on the fight. Isolder's fur was stained with blood and covered in mud and dirt. Isolder's claw finally rose to the sky and prepared to strike Azure's throat, but suddenly he froze as the light began to shine down on him.

It felt like every part of his insides were on fire. The pain and burning caused him to howl so loud it made the trees shake. Suddenly, his features started to twist and change as the non-beast Isolder's appearance began be seen through the disappearing fur. Suddenly, Isolder laid there unmoving, naked, and with blood pouring from his body.

Azure ached all over.  If the sun had risen a moment later he would have been dead.  Under the moon light he would have been able to survive the blow he was about to receive. But it would have taken some time for him to heal.  He gasped and panted, rolling Isolder off of him.  Clearly, the other wolf was not accustomed to his forced changes.

Well... this was going to be awkward.  The entire town now knew they were both wolves. Isolder had murdered people in his insanity, and they were both naked.  Getting back into two to reunite with their comrades was going to be difficult.  Well... maybe not that difficult, the others were probably being chased of of the town for being having associations with them.  The beginning of this journey was not looking so bright.

The group left in the town was now out in the street, the sun shining on them as they saw the town still making sense out of the chaos that the wolves had left them in. Ivari, though he had been nothing short of a pompous ass, had grabbed the child Bishop and shielded him. Ardor had taken note of that. He might hate the could have been king, but at least he was smart enough to see what was about to happen.

"How can we find them?" Ardor turned and asked Altor. The immortal had walked down the stairs into the street last.

"Their journey is now separate." The being said, his tone was warm but his words were apathetic. Ardor could feel the warmth of his anger rising like a flame.

"You are an immortal with a quest to save us all, but you haven't done a single thing to help?!" Ardor had not even realized that his hand was in the arm as if he was about to strike Altor. He simply felt a hand grab his wrist to stop the attack. He turned around to see who had stopped him, but there was no one around. Like a ghost had moved in and stopped the attack. When he turned around, he simply saw Altor walking away - moving out of the town.

"We should follow him. The people here are going to want blood." Ivari said. Ardor felt like he was a coward for abandoning the others, but he understood that they were right. The town would turn against them very soon. Ivari and Bishop began to follow the sentinel, but before Ardor could follow, he heard a voice,

"You shouldn't have come here." Ardor turned to see a man standing behind him. The man's complexion was dark, he was definitely a hairy man who Ardor could tell was both angry and deep in thought.

"We are leaving." Ardor said, his tone matching the harshness of the stranger.

"Without your companions? Coward." The man said. Ardor was angry, but this must have been the first sign of the town beginning a hunt for them.

"Our companions are lost. I would think your town would be pleased with that." Ardor said, moving closer to the man.

"They may be, but my son is with them." The man said. Ardor didn't know if he was more surprised or confused. How did this man know his son was with them when Ardor didn't even know - he also spoke like he knew where they were. Ardor looked back at the group that was leaving the town.

"If it means finding my companions, I will help you find your son." Ardor said. In the choice between a child, an immortal that wouldn't do anything, and a fool, Ardor felt like his chances would be better with a group of hunters and warriors.=

"I don't need your help." The man said, scoffing at Ardor. Ardor placed his hand onto the hilt of his sword,

"You don't have a choice."

"I don't need your help."  The man repeated, "If you take your hand off your sword you can follow me."

Ardor didn't move, "What are you planning to do to them?"  He asked.

"I only want to bring my son home without incident."  The man replied, "He is young, and he longs to be with his own kind.  I cannot afford the people of this town knowing the truth about him, they would turn on us both."

There was a moment of silence as Ardor recognized the man's meaning.  Then the man continued, "I sense your power, but know this, even though it is daylight I am your equal in battle.  Do not fight me.  We must hurry, before the town notices my son's disappearance, and my wife becomes suspicious of my true heritage.  I'm not asking for your help, I'm offering mine.  If you don't follow me, I will kill your companions to save my family's reputation."
